Dropkick Murphys and Rancid will team up for a co-headlining U.S. tour this summer. The trek will launch on July 27 in Bangor, Maine and run throughout the summer before wrapping up on August 26 in Los Angeles.
Appropriately named after each group’s hometown, the From Boston To Berkeley Tour will make stops in cities like Chicago, Salt Lake City, and San Diego across their 24-date trek. Rancid and Dropkick Murphys will bring out Bouncing Souls as direct support along with Jake Burns, The Selector, and Kevin Seconds for select dates.
Tickets for the From Boston To Berkeley Tour can be found on the secondary market, with ticket averages currently coming in at $81.
Dropkick Murphys’ ninth album 11 Short Stories Of Pain & Glory, dropped on January 6 and debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200. Rancid plans to release their ninth album this year. Their last album, …Honor Is All We Know, was released back in 2014 and peaked at No. 20 on the Billboard 200.
Throughout their route, the groups promise that each night will close with a joint encore.
