Lack of suitable headliners has caused a swirl of issues for UFC 208.
The upcoming event, which was originally slated to be held at Honda Center in Anaheim on January 21, will now be held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on February 11. Barclays Center was initially set to host UFC 209 but the switch has pushed the venue to make way for UFC 208 in February. No fighters have been confirmed for the event, which will be New York City’s third MMA event since the sport was legalized in New York in 2016.
For those with interest in attending the upcoming event, it might be best to hold off on purchasing tickets until the main card is made official. As it stands now the average price for UFC 209 tickets on the secondary market is $1,389. The cheapest tickets currently start from $351.
