Killswitch Engage To Embark On Disarm The Descent Tour

With the promise of ‘so much metal riffage that you could build your own cruise ship,’ one of the metalcore scene’s biggest acts are to head back onto the North American road with the release of Killswitch Engage tickets for a summer tour.

Killswitch Engage Tickets

The Massachusetts outfit, who recently scored a second consecutive US Top 10 album with Disarm The Descent, will take in 31 different North American venues, starting at Oklahoma’s Diamond Ballroom on May 30 and finishing up at Joliet’s Mojoes on July 8.

Alongside performances at Syracuse’s F Shed At The Market on June 7, San Francisco’s Regency Grand on June 25 and Omaha’s Sokol Auditorium on July 2, the band will also appear at Quebec’s D-Tox Rockfest on June 14, before heading out to Japan for the Fuji Rock Festival and then Europe for sets at the Netherlands’ Dynamo, Sweden’s Getaway Rock and Germany’s ELB Riot.

Killswitch Engage tickets are currently only available for the June 1 gig at Houston’s House Of Blues with both a get-in and average price of $105 but keep checking back for updates on how to buy tickets for the rest of the tour.

Having recently reunited with original frontman Jesse Leach, who left the band following 2002’s Alive Or Just Breathing, expect to hear the majority of their new sixth studio LP, including critically-acclaimed lead single “In Due Time.”

But alongside support slots from fellow metalheads As I Lay Dying, Miss May I and Affiance, fans with Killswitch Engage tickets should also expect a ‘great mix of songs from every era,’ with their current European tour featuring material from 2000’s self-titled debut (“Temple From The Within,” “Vide Infra”), 2004’s commercial break-through The End Of Heartache (“A Bid Farewell,” “Rose Of Sharyn”) and 2006’s As Daylight Dies (“The Arms Of Sorrow,” “This Is Absolution”).

(UPDATE 7-24) Lamb of God will join Killswitch Engage fall dates in North America. The two bands are set to begin their tour on October 22 in Toronto. The tour will take them through 27 cities across the country and will conclude on November 26 in Silver Spring, MD. Testament and Huntress will open all shows besides the November 8 data in Los Angeles. All upcoming dates are below:
