(UPDATE) Fans of the music industry’s number one power couple may soon have the chance to get their hands on Beyonce and Jay-Z tickets following reports that the pair are planning to embark on a 20-date stadium tour this summer.
The two superstars have only recently wrapped up their respective solo jaunts with Jay-Z concluding his Magna Carter World Tour at State College’s Bryce Jordan Center back in January and Beyonce finishing her lengthy Mrs Carter Show World Tour at Portugal’s MEO Arena in March.
But according to The New York Post’s Page Six, the husband-and-wife team are set to start rehearsing next month for a joint trek which will kick off at June 13 in Atlanta and finish up at San Francisco on August 6, with a July 4 gig in their adopted New York hometown and an Aug 3 concert at Pasadena’s Rose Bowl just two of the shows rumoured to be in the pipeline.
Of course, the hip-hop mogul and R&B diva aren’t exactly strangers to the concept of working together. Indeed, alongside several hit collaborations (“’03 Bonnie & Clyde,” “Crazy In Love,” “Drunk In Love”), Blue Ivy’s parents have also teamed up on stage several times this year alone for performances at the Grammy Awards, the DirecTV Super Bowl party and one of Beyonce’s dates at London’s O2 Arena. However, this will mark the first time that the duo will have released Jay-Z and Beyonce tickets for a full tour.
News of the reported tour arrives just days after the pair both made surprise appearances at the first weekend of this year’s Coachella, with Jay-Z showing up during former nemesis Nas’ set for a rendition of “Dead Presidents II,” the track which allegedly kickstarted their famous feud, and Beyonce briefly joining Solange on a dance routine for her sister’s single, “Losing You.”
If the rumors are true, then Jay-Z and Beyonce tickets are expected to go on sale within the next few weeks so keep checking back on TiqIQ for the latest updates.

Announced on the same day as Kanye West’s Yeezus tour, hip-hop fans can now look forward to seeing another of the scene’s giants up close and personal later this year following the release of Jay-Z tickets for a series of dates across North America.
The Jigga Man had already confirmed that he would be taking his Magna Carter World Tour to Europe this fall including four nights at London’s 02 Arena, two of which are listed on TiqIQ with a get-in price of $108 and average price of $110 for October 10 and $96/$107 for October 11.
And now the Roc Nation boss has announced that he will be bringing his first solo tour in four years to the other side of the Atlantic for 34 dates across 2013/14, kicking off at Saint Paul’s Xcel Energy Centre on November 30 ($79/$174) and concluding at University Park’s Bryce Jordan Center on January 31 ($94/$102).
With an overall tour average price of $322, there are still plenty of Jay-Z tickets waiting to be snapped up on TiqIQ for most dates including the two night run at his hometown of Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on January 12 ($99/$369) and 13 ($105/$480), with the December 20 gig at San Antonio’s AT&T Center currently the lowest get-in price at $68 (average price $247) and the January 5 performance at the Greensboro Coliseum the cheapest average price at $105 (get-in price $72).
The 43-year-old is expected to perform several tracks from Magna Carta… Holy Grail, the twelfth studio album which rocketed to number one on the Billboard charts in July with first-week sales of over half a million copies.
But alongside lead single “Holy Grail,” his recent Legends Of The Summer Stadium shows alongside Justin Timberlake also featured a string of classic Jay-Z anthems including “Big Pimpin’,” “99 Problems” and “Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem),” his first US Top 10 hit “Izzo (H.O.V.A.)” and his 2009 chart-topper, “Empire State Of Mind.”
