BCS National Championship Ticket Price Trend: TiqIQ Makes The Big Show

With both Oregon and Kansas State losing on Saturday, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish have been the talk of the college football world after this weekend’s shocking turn of events and their subsequent move to the top of the BCS rankings. For the Irish, it’s their first taste of the #1 spot since 1993 and a chance for their first national championship since 1988. For Notre Dame fans across the country these last few days have been their best in decades. So it’s no surprise that prices for BCS National Championship Tickets have jumped 26% in the wake of their move up the rankings.

Our friend, ESPN’s Darren Rovell, stopped by SportsCenter last night for his weekly ‘Money Talk’ segment to discuss the business behind Notre Dame’s jump to the top of the polls and their almost inevitable appearance in the BCS National Championship game.
