   Can we just have Lindy come out and say that its obvious that the plreays have given up on the season and most are trying to play themselves out of a spot on next year’s roster? Because it sure seems as if that’s what they’re trying to do.

   I think it is because most nba pleayrs are taller, bigger and more athletic then everyday pleayrs that you see. So that results in a higher release of their shot, at or above the level of the basketball rim. Therefore, there tends to be less of an arc in their shot. Just think of it as throwing a wad of paper into a trash can. At a downwards angle, you can throw it hard and it will hit the back of the can and go in. my conclusion: smaller pleayrs tend to shoot with more arc, while taller pleayrs tend to shoot more flat.
