NFL Wild Card Playoff Premiums

What does price say about excitement? Fans in Indy don’t seem too pleased after a substandard season, so while they may be paying the second highest price for this round, they’re not handing over too much more than they would for the average regular season game. This should open the door to some of the best deals of the opening round for the ticket buyers in Indy.
Over in Philly, fans paying a decent premium on top of an already-high average to see their NFC East champs take on the Packers, in what is could be a classic. If questions about Vick’s ability to play continue to swirl, the average price could drop over the next week.
The most excitement shown for this round comes from fans who might not have expected to see their teams get this far; Chiefs fans and Seahawks fans. While the averages prices are the two lowest of the WildCard round, the premiums on these tickets are by far the highest with seats selling for 58% and 68% above the two teams’ home averages. The Chiefs have played well all season, and the high premium combined with a relatively high avg. season price is an indication that fans are really excited for the first Arrowhead playoff game in sine 2003. As for the Hawks, the high premium likely has more to do with the fact that their average price of $97 is the lowest of any playoff team than it does true enthusiasm for a playoff run. With the defending SuperBowl champs coming to town, enthusiasm should be kept to a minimum.

I like seeing the (my) Rams get an Honorable Mention. They have baelld well with Sam Bradford and as long as he’s healthy and stays away from Girlie Shows, he’s gonna pan out fine. Good Kid! Good Kid!The (my) Eagles Did Not impress anyone on Tuesday’s Sunday Night Football. They were also on the receiving end of a couple extra days to prepare for the game and yet it appears the Vikes got the better time in. I think they’ll be fine in the playoffs but their margin for errors in games are zero.So the Chargers aren’t Super this year and wind up not only not winning the AFC West but Missing the Playoffs! Very Disappointing for a six season streak to end if you’re an SD fan. Nice get by the Chiefs for the Title Crown. Week One was a foot-kicking-the-door-open moment for them. Staying healthy, keeping chemistry and (staying out of Girlie Shows) will help to make them a tougher contender in seasons to come.
This is a move that is crazy but understood.I think it is too soon to have Randy out the door after such a short time. The team could have rdemiranped him internally to try to get points across. I don’t think this was their only viable option; especially with the season not looking anywhere near as electrifying as last year. He’s the Best Receiver on the team and they let him go. I don’t think this helps them very much but we all know what Harvin and Rice can do.However, Randy did bring this on himself and his antics are as welcome as they were like back in 2003 or any previous era. Doggin it and playing when you feel like it aren’t good ways to keep a relationship from going the wrong way. Maybe this will sink in deeper for Randy or maybe a team will just take the baggage and hope its without a fee like Southwest Airlines (Just Sayin’).
