Phils New Roy to Make Debut in DC, Prices Up 56% Since Trade
With The Takeover 2 scheduled for Saturday, Phils fans were already planning to give the DC-economy a jolt of brotherly love. Now that Roy Oswalt is making his Phillies debut tonight, Phils fans are moving the trip up a day. Since the trade was announced, prices for the game are up 56%, and Phillies fan are suddenly optimistic about October baseball.
The Nats season, on the hand, is long lost. At 14.5 games out of first, and with Strassburg now on the DL, this weekend’s series may also be the last time Nationals Park shows any life in 2010.
In case you’re not familiar, the Takeover is an collective I-95 road-trip, initiated by the blog PhilliesNation with the stated goal of ‘turning Nationals Park into Citizens Bank Park South’. Takeover 1 happened on opening day, when the other Roy–Roy Halliday–made his Phillies Debut. Attendance for that game was a 98-6%-full 41,290 and the average price was $172. Compared to Takeover 1, Takeover 2 is looking like a bargain. If Roy 2 delivers tonight and down the stretch, it will make the prospects and any cash seem like a bargain as well.

Your web site/blog format is very apeailpng to the eye of the reader. This is a phenomenal way to start off as a kid in middle/high school. I enjoyed writing a Phils blog immensely throughout my secondary education. Don’t let your grades drop though! One tip: use MS Word to spell/grammar check before you submit a posting.References :
